Issue/Introduction

  • After successfully upgrading SDDC to version 9.1 and deploying Management services, the Build > Lifecycle page spins when you attempt to upgrade the remaining components.
  • SDDC Manager Missing in VCF Operations Build > Lifecycle After 9.1 Upgrade
  • You observe this issue directly in the VCF Operations Manager UI, and the page fails to load for both VCF Management and VCF instances.

Environment

  • VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1
  • VCF Operations 9.1

Cause

A browser cache conflict following the upgrade to 9.1 causes this issue. Stale cached data in your web browser prevents the updated UI components from loading correctly.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VCF 9.1 EP2 (VCF Operations 9.1.0.200 Release Notes).

Workaround:

To successfully load the page and continue your upgrades, use the following workaround:

  1. Open a new Incognito or Private window in your web browser.
  2. Log in to the VCF Operations UI.
  3. Navigate to Build > Lifecycle.
Note: To permanently resolve the issue for standard browser sessions, clear your web browser's cache and cookies, then reload the page.
