Issue/Introduction

  • Importing VCF 9.0.1 into VCF 9.0.2 Fleet Management fails with the error LCMVROPSYSTEM25127.Applied KB Deployment of Cloud Proxy in VCF Operations through Fleet Manager fails with error LCMVROPSYSTEM25127 to redeploy 9.0.2 version of the Cloud Proxy. 
  • Sign into VCF Operations → Navigate to AdministrationIntegrations → edit VMware Cloud Foundation adapter instance → Changed the Collector/Group from old cloud proxy to the new deployed cloud proxy and when doing so receive the error "SDDC configuration is not available as adapter instance is not ready.
  •  VMware Cloud Foundation adapter instance status is Warning

Resolution

  1. Sign into VCF operations UI
  2. Access Inventory Management by navigating to Infrastructure OperationsConfigurations Inventory Management Expand Adapter instance 
    1. Click on VMware Cloud Foundation Selected the affected instance Click on the button for 'Stop Collecting' 
    2. Click on VMware Health Infrastructure Adapter Instance → Select the instance for the affected Cloud proxy Click on the button for 'Stop Collecting' 
    3. Click on VMware Infrastructure Management Adapter → Select the instance for the affected Cloud proxy Click on the button for 'Stop Collecting' 
    4. Click on VMware Cloud Foundation Selected the affected instance Click on the button for 'Start Collecting' 
    5. Click on VMware Health Infrastructure Adapter Instance → Select the instance for the affected Cloud proxy Click on the button for 'Start Collecting' 
    6. Click on VMware Infrastructure Management Adapter → Select the instance for the affected Cloud proxy Click on the button for 'Start Collecting' 
  3. Navigate to AdministrationIntegrations → edit VMware Cloud Foundation adapter instance → Change the Collector/Group to the new cloud proxy
