Issue/Introduction

  • Flow data is missing in the UI after upgrading to version 9.0.2. Specifically, the 'Business Applications with flows' widget under the Infrastructure Operations > Network Operations tab in VCF Operations fails to populate and displays "No data available".
  • When attempting to add applications based on flows in VCF Operations, or when navigating to Applications > Add applications > Flows in VCF Operations for Networks, you receive the following error:
    • The current platform configuration cannot support application discovery. Please update system configuration.
  • Additionally, navigating to Settings > Infrastructure and Support > Overview and Updates in VCF Operations for Networks displays a system error indicating:
    • capacity configuration is mismatched

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must correct the capacity configuration mismatch in the VCF Operations for Networks system settings.

  1. Review and apply the system reconfiguration steps outlined in the following article;

  2. Once the system configuration is updated and the capacity mismatch is resolved, application discovery will automatically resume processing flows, and the widgets will populate correctly across both UIs.
