Issue/Introduction

  • Sign into VCF operations UI → AdministrationIntegrations → Two instances of VMware Cloud Foundation is configured to connect to the same SDDC manger server, one instance is connecting via IP the other FQDN.
  • Sign into VCF operations UI → Navigate to Fleet ManagementLifecycle → Expand VCF instances → Selecting the specific VCF instance displays the following error in the UI:
    Service or view is not available for the selected object.
    Details: Try again later in a couple of minutes.
    Next steps:
    Should the issue continue, please check adapter Collection Status.

VCF 9.x

Resolution

Note: Prior to applying the below steps it is recommended to take a snapshot of VCF operations as per documentation Create a Snapshot Before You Upgrade VCF Operations
  1. Sign into VCF operations UI 
  2. Navigate to Administration →  Integrations →  Locate the affected adapter instance(s) → Click on 3 dots beside one of the duplicate adapter instances and click Delete → Do not select the checkbox for "Delete related objects." → Click Delete
