HCX Upgrade Failure: Upgrade from Version 4.11.3.0 to 9.0 Not Supported by Bundle

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to upgrade HCX from version 4.11.3.0 to VCF HCX 9.0.0.0 or 9.0.1.0, the upgrade process may fail with the following error message.

Error: Upgrade from version 4.11.3.0 is not supported by this bundle.

Cause

Upgrade directly from version 4.11.3.0 to 9.0.0.0 or 9.0.1.0 is not supported.

From VMware HCX 4.11.3, the only supported upgrade path is to version 9.0.2.0 for now.

Resolution

A direct upgrade from version 4.11.3.0 to 9.0.2.0 is supported.
