Syncing Catalogs does not sync VM metadata

Issue/Introduction

When you synchronize a subscribed Catalog in VMware Cloud Director (VCD), the VM level metadata is not synchronized to the subscriber side.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

This issue occurs because VMware Cloud Director currently does not persist catalog item metadata details to the subscriber side during synchronization.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting Cloud Director 10.6.x.
Currently, there is no resolution.
