Purchased permanent vCenter License

1. Locate and download purchased licenses (if not already done):
2. Add licenses to vCenter (if not already done):
A. Login to your vCenter using your [email protected] user.
B. Click on menu->administration->licenses to get to the license screen
C. Under Licenses, you will see "Licenses" "Products" "Assets". Choose "Licenses."
D. You will see a list of your licenses. Look for your permanent vCenter license.
E. If you don't see it then choose the "Add New Licenses" button and paste in your license.
After doing that you will see your new license among the choices.
3. Assign your new license
A. Click on "Assets"
B. Click on the vCenter that you want to add the license to.
C. And then click on "Assign License" and choose the license you want to assign.
NOTE: If expiring vCenter licenses were seen in step 2E then you can go back and delete those but the banner
will not go away unless all temporary licenses are removed. Be sure you are not using them before deleting those.
