vCenter object report data missing in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

 The vCenter object shows null values in all generated reports for the vCenter adapter instance in Aria Operations.

• Reports generated with the Aria Operations admin account return the same null value.
• Observed no data collection for the vCenter adapter instance, which shows the message "Certificate Validation failed". 
  

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

The trusted Certificate of vCenter had expired in Aria Operations.

Resolution

Renew the vCenter certificate and perform the validation steps outlined in the KB below in Aria Operations to trust the new vCenter certificate.
