NSX cluster backup fails due to insufficient disk space in backup location

Issue/Introduction

• Cluster backup fails with error as shown in below screenshot.

• You may see the logs similar to the below in /var/log/syslog of Manager.

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

Insufficient disk space in the backup location can cause the errors as described above.

Resolution

Cleanup older files, make sure there is enough space in backup directory and then re try the backup.

Additional Information

NSX backup fails with "Backup operation unknown error"
