Alert: "Datastore is running out of disk space" is not triggered

Issue/Introduction

• The  "Datastore is running out of disk space" is not triggered in Aria Operations.
• The datastore in vCenter is almost full and present the alert "Datastore usage on disk".
• On Aria Operations, from the datastore metrics the used space under capacity is reported to be over 95%.
• The alert has been configured to be triggered if the space used is grater than 90%.
• In the Aria Operations inventory, on the affected datastore summary tab the alert can be seen as active, however, on the datastore alert tab no alert is available on the list.

Aria Operations 8.18.5

Cause

One of the analytic nodes status was stuck "Waiting For Analytics".

Resolution

Rebooting nodes in Aria Operations
