Site Recovery UI reports error : "unable to connect to vcenter server at https://VC_FQDN_OR_IP: 443/sdk"

Issue/Introduction

• vSphere Client and Site Recovery UI both reports following error in 'Recent Tasks' section :
  
  "unable to connect to vcenter server at https://VC_FQDN_OR_IP: 443/sdk"

• vCenter was under Enhanced link mode, now link mode is broken.

Environment

vSphere Replication 8.x
vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

vCenter Link mode is broken, which caused Live Site Recovery and vSphere Replication can not connect to vCenters under link mode via 443 port.

Resolution

• Refer Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server Systems: https://VC_FQDN_OR_IP: 443/sdk error in the vSphere Client to fix vCenter Link mode first, 
• Refer vSphere Client and Site Recovery UI reports error : "Cannot establish a TCP connection to server at 'x.x.x.x:443' " to check any other releated issue.
  
  If these can not resolve the problem, please pull full logs (vCenter, vSphere Replication, Live Site Recovery) and contact Broadcom support.
