"Unable to compute applicability for drift" message displayed in SDDC Manager Update tab

Issue/Introduction

The "Unable to compute applicability for drift" message appears on the Updates tab in SDDC Manager.

The following output is displayed:

* domainmanger.log
XXXX-XX-XXTXX:XX:XX.XXX+0000 ERROR [] [] [DGJI0V] Unable to compute applicability for drift {0}. Because configuration realized check failed on resources {1}. * trustmanagement-svcs.log
[tomcat-exec-24 [] ERROR com.vmware.vcenter.trustmanagement.authbroker.BrokerClient opId=] VMware Identity services unavailable

Environment

VCF 5.2.x

Cause

This occurs when the vc-ws1a-broker service in vCenter Server runs out of memory.

Resolution

Follow the steps in the Resolution section of KB 378474.

After completing the steps in KB 378474, restart the domainmanager service in the following order:
1. SSH into SDDC Manager as the vcf user.
2. Run su to switch to the root user.
3. Restart the domainmanager service by running the following command:
systemctl restart domainmanager
