Local Manager is out of sync with Global Manager: Sync Status shows "Failed"

Issue/Introduction

• From within NSX UI, Global Manager > Location Manager > Local Manager shows Sync Status "Failed".
• Configuration on the Global Manager is not pushed to the affected Local Manager.
• From with the Local Manager async-replicator logs shows the following warning.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.1.4 and 9.0.1, available at Broadcom downloads.

Workaround:

1. Connect to Local Manager
2. From root user run the following command
   
   systemctl restart async-replicator-service
   
   
3. Confirm that the Local Manager Sync status in UI reverts to "Success".
