Unable to remove OrgVDC Network from vCloud Director due to error: Bad Request where NSX Segment has child object segment profile binding maps attached

Issue/Introduction

• When deleting OrgVDC Network from vCloud Director the following error occurs:

Bad Request: Error occurred in the backing network provider: The object path=[/infra/segments/<segment-uuid>] cannot be deleted as either it has children or it is being referenced by other objects path=[/infra/segments/<segment-uuid>/segment-discovery-profile-binding-maps/<segment-discovery-profile-binding-map-uuid>], error code 500030

VMware NSX

Cause

NSX Segment has a child object "segment-discovery-profile-binding-map" attached to the segment restricting it from being removed.
