vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager gets disconnected from vCenter server post VC certificate change.

Issue/Introduction

Below error is noticed under SRM Plugin UI:

com.vmware.vim.vmomi.core.exception.CertificateValidationException. Server certificate chain is not trusted and thumbprint verification is not configured.

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.X

Cause

Machine SSL certificate was changed on vCenter server.

Resolution

1. Reconfigure the vSphere Replication
2. Reconfigure Site Recovery Manager
3. Pair the sites.
4. If machine SSL certificate on vCenter is changed post re-configuration of vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager sites must be re-connected.
