Analysis Script Result Error: "Could not allocate a new page for database 'TEMPDB" because the "DEFAULT" filegroup is full

Issue/Introduction

• Attempting the run the Analysis Script for Database Performance Issues
• Error is received:

  Could not allocate a new page for database 'TEMPDB' because the 'Default' filegroup is full due to lack of storage space or database files reaching the maximum allowed size.

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions

Cause

• Disk drive where TEMPDB is located, is full
• TEMPDB autogrowth not enabled

Resolution

1. Log in to the application server as the Carbon Black Service Account and launch SQL Server Management Studio.
2. Navigate to Databases > System Databases > tempdb
3. Right click tempdb > Properties > Files
4. Confirm the disk (path) where tempdb is stored has sufficient free space
5. Confirm Autogrowth is enabled
