Issue/Introduction

  • There is no information in the VCF Operations UI under Fleet Management --> Passwords --> VCF Instances or under Fleet Management --> Certificates --> VCF Instances:

  • The VCF Management tab is fully functional.

Environment

VCF 9.0 GA
VCF Operations 9.0
VCF Operations 9.0.1

Cause

If you utilize a vCenter Server license that does not have an expiry date you will experience this issue.

Resolution

The SDDC Manager public APIs can be used to managed manage certificates for SDDC Manager, NSX, vCenter and  ESX components. See API Documentation

  • To manage passwords of VCF Instance components (SDDC Manager, NSX, vCenter and ESX), you can use SDDC Manager UI. See below operations that are supported by VCF OPs that can be performed from SDDC Manager UI:

Additional Information

This issue will be fixed in the VCF 9.0.1 release.

If you still see this issue in VCF 9.0.1, where Management VC is visible and Workload VC is missing (for example), follow KBs below to attempt to resolve:
