NSX 4.1.2.5
This issue occurs if the image is set on a non vLCM NSX prepared cluster and the compute manager is not registered with the mandatory settings for vLCM
To resolve the issue, follow the below steps.
1. Edit the Compute Manager on NSX and make sure enable trust and create service account options are enabled as per Prepare an NSX Cluster with vSphere Lifecycle Manager.
Log in to the NSX Manager UI.
Navigate to System > Fabric > Compute Managers.
Select the target vCenter Server and click Edit.
Verify that both of the following options are explicitly enabled:
Enable Trust
Create Service Account (Note: If they are already enabled, toggle them off, save, and then edit and toggle them back on to force a trust configuration refresh).
Save the Compute Manager configuration and wait for the Registration Status to show as Registered and the Connection Status to report Up.
Navigate to System > Fabric > Nodes > Host Transport Nodes.
Locate the failed cluster and click Resolve to initiate the sync between NSX Manager and vLCM.
Note: Disabling vLCM on the vSphere cluster is not a supported operation in vCenter.
