Issue/Introduction

  • The Precheck for NSX Upgrade task completes successfully in SDDC Manager.
  • After starting the NSX upgrade, the task fails within one minute of starting.
  • You seen an error in the SDDC Manager UI stating, "NSX Audit failed for #####.example.com with error error_message : Failed to load NSX Cluster from the Inventory, httpStatus : , error_code : 0"
  • In the NSX UI, on the System > Upgrade page, there is no sign that the upgrade was started.

  • VMware SDDC Manager 9.x
  • VMware NSX 9.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting SDDC Manager 9.x and NSX 9.x.
