Issue/Introduction

After the upgrade the WebApp / Page is not loading anymore.

Upon checking the webswing.log I get following INFO / WARN:

(SessionPoolManagerImpl.java:1088) Can not start new session of /oneclickwebapp. No free session pool.

and there is a popup saying

Reconnecting... (4)

"There are too many active connections right now, please try again later."

Environment

Any supported Spectrum version

Cause

Environment issue

Make sure you are not genuinely reaching the configured concurrent connection limit.
If so; follow KB link in Additional Information section.

Resolution

Note:
Before executing check if this is not indeed configured concurrent connection limit. (see KB below)

rebuild the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/webapps/spectrum directory:

1. move it from the original location to "/spectrum_bak"

2. restart the webtomcat service

cd $SPECROOT/webtomcat/bin
./stopWebTomcat.sh
./startWebTomcat.sh

Additional Information

Upon checking the catalina.out logfile I can see that the WebSocket is now successfully connected and the session pool is showing up in the webswing admin page.

Note:

This error may simply indicate that you reached the configured concurrent connection limit:
Set the maximum number concurrent sessions for the Spectrum WebApp

This solution was applied after verifying the below KBs:

After setting up HTTPS in Spectrum, the WebApp will not display and complains about too many active connections

Unable to launch OneClick WebApp - There are too many active connections right now
