Issue/Introduction

• Maintenance mode for the vSAN host may get stuck.
  
  
• vCenter > Monitor > vSAN > Skyline health displays an alert related to the host in maintenance mode.
  
  

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.0

VMware vSAN 8.0

Cause

This is caused due to the host having the powered-on VCLS VMs.

Resolution

Ensure no VMs are powered on for the host. 
If host is having any VCLS VM in powered-on state, manually power them off.
