Generate VCF Automation Log Bundle

Issue/Introduction

• Need to generate a Log Bundle for analysis by Broadcom Support.

Environment

• VCF Automation 9.0

Resolution

• Log into the VCF Operations Portal
• Select Fleet Management then Lifecycle:

• Click Manage on the relevant VCF Automation environment
  • 

 

• Click the 3 dots () next to the Environment name and go to Logs then Generate Logs:
  • 

 

• A new task gets launched automatically:
  • 

 

• Go back to Components from Tasks.
  • 

 

• Go to the same menu as above within the VCF Automation environment in Components and go to Logs and then Download Logs.
  • 

 

• Once this task is complete you can now Download the log bundle and provide this to Broadcom Support.
