Download Failures Due To WinHttpQueryHeaders StatusCode[00000194]

Issue/Introduction

Agent is failing to download necessary files (upgrade, Configlist, etc) with error messages similar to:

Error[Failed to obtain CL file[https://appcserver/configlistwithdeleteditems_v2.xml.egk]: Error[WinHttpQueryHeaders StatusCode[00000194]]]

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Cause

Microsoft defines the hex code 00000194 as:

HTTP_STATUS_NOT_FOUND: 404
The server has not found anything that matches the requested URI.

Resolution

1. Verify the configured Download Location is correct.
2. Verify the file exists in the Download Location.
   • If an alternate Resource Download Location or Certificate Download Location is in use, copy necessary files.
3. Verify the endpoint(s) can correctly access the Download Location.
