Issue/Introduction

  • While reconfiguring the vSphere Replication appliance, the operation may fail with the following error:
  • Error: No space left: /opt/vmware/etc/dr/creds/.store.creds
  • Running the df -h command on the vSphere Replication appliance shows that the /var/core partition is at full capacity.

Environment

VMware vSphere Replication 8.x
VMware vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

Upon running df -h on the vSphere replication appliance shows /var/core partition is full.

Resolution

Address the space issues by removing the old/unwanted files from vSphere replication appliance.
