Issue/Introduction

SpanVA disconnected with AWS/GCP name resolution errors:

[ERROR] AWS/GCP name resolution
[ERROR] Exception is checking DNS configuration : list index out of range
[ERROR] Proxy is not working as expected, status code : 401

You ensured that the SpanVA can resolve storage.googleapis.com through DNS. PROXY/FIREWALL confirmed there was no configuration change.

Cause

Back end logs showed APIKEY_LOGIN_FAILURE errors for SpanVA API requests on CloudSOC. The current SpanVA Owner is no more an active user in CloudSOC.

Resolution

Change SpanVA Owner to active user in CloudSOC per instruction in KB Change the System Administrator Owner of a SpanVA
