Edge raises the NIC link down alarm for the interfaces which are currently not being used by datapath.

Issue/Introduction

Alarm is raised when the NIC link status goes down for an unused interface. 

Environment

VMware NSX 4.1

Cause

Datapath does not differentiate between the used and unused interface. Alarm is raised whenever NIC link status goes down without validating if the interface is being used by it or not.

Resolution

This has been fixed in 9.0 release. Changes are made to not raise an alarm when the unused interface NIC link status goes down.
