Click on the NFS share from vCenter UI, the folder contents are empty and vCenter reports an operation failed message "File ######## was not found".
Click on another datastore and go back to the NFS share, contents are back. The issue is intermittent.

From the cluster of hosts the NFS share is presented with, there is a host (can be more than one host) with connectivity issues to the NFS share.
vCenter server relies on host to display information about NFS share, when it receives information from one of the host that has connectivity issues with the NFS it reports information as seen by the host.
For example, NFS share presented from hyperconverged solution (HCI) is incorrectly mapped to another cluster.
NFS share from HCI solution is carved out of the hosts with in that cluster and usually meant for that cluster unless it is specifically designed to be mapped to another cluster.
Follow the article Datastores appear empty or with invalid content in vCenter Server datastore browser to identify the host with connectivity issues to the NFS.
Fix the NFS connectivity issues
In the example stated, remove the NFS share mapping from the 2nd cluster that is unable to access contents of the NFS share.
