Alert on the DR UI regarding vCenter Server Certificate Expiry

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The following warning message is noticed on the DR UI page

  example1.test.com : The certificate of vCenter Server at example1.test.com expires on 5/24/25, 3:50 PM.
example2.test.com : The certificate of vCenter Server at example2.test.com expires on 5/24/25, 3:59 PM.

Environment

• VMware vCenter Server
• VMware Live Site Recovery 9.x
• VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.x

Cause

This alert is triggered when one or more required certificates on the vCenter server are expired or will expire soon.

Resolution

• The issue can be resolved by verifying and renewing the expired/expiring certificates on the vCenter server
