Issue/Introduction

Changing FQDN of the Aria Automation nodes after initial install may sometimes be needed in a customers environment. 

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x

Resolution

This is not a supported operation. 

It is only possible to change the IP address and the Load Balancer VIP 

 

A new deployment would have to be installed with the new hostname/FQDN. We can then use the Lifecycle Manager Content Management to transfer content from the old Aria Automation environment to the new one.
