Issue/Introduction

  • This is a federation environment
  • There is only one Overlay Transport Zone
  • Attempting to update T0 to add/edit uplink interfaces, receives the following error:
  • NSX manager log (/var/log/proton/nsxapi.log) reports the following similar error:

Environment

Cause

The global-infra overlay segment has a transport zone path attribute populated, which conflicts with the infra overlay segment transport zone path. 

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.2.1, available at Broadcom downloads.
