Issue/Introduction

  • Delete All Snapshots for multiple VMs at the same time doesn't work.
  • The snapshot will be removed on one VM, but on the other VMs the snapshot remains.
  • An error generated from cloud director states:

    VM1
    [ #########-####-####-####-######### ] The entity Ref: com.vmware.vcloud.entity.vm: #########-####-####-####-######### is busy completing an operation VAPP_REMOVE_ALL_SNAPSHOTS. VAPP_REMOVE_ALL_SNAPSHOTS(com.vmware.vcloud.entity.task: #########-####-####-####-#########)

  • Users cannot remove snapshots from multiple virtual machines at the same time.
    • In the VCD UI,
      • Select the Virtual Machines view.
      • Filter on VMs that have a snapshot
      • Enable the Multiselect option.
      • Select 2 or more Virtual machines
      • Click on Remove All snapshots
      • After clicking Remove All, nothing happens. No task starts and the snapshots are not removed
