Adding additional date formats do not work in Jaspersoft Adhoc Views

Issue/Introduction

• Ways of adding additional date formats in Adhoc Views have been written upon. Two such pages are being mentioned below:

• These steps do not work if the Operating System is Windows Server.

Environment

• Jaspersoft 9.0.0

Cause

• This is a defect with ID JS-75447.

Resolution

Workaround:

• Addition of timestamp formats into adhoc_masks.properties works. This option can be explored if a timestamp is acceptable in place of a date format.
