Issue/Introduction

Windows NMP unable to connect to AppNeta Server.

Error: Cannot check peer: missing select ALPN property.

Similar error shown in Sequncer.log

Cause

Firewall, Proxy, TCP Inspection device is manipulating SSL certificates in transit.

Resolution

Whitelist *.pm.appneta.com or various endpoints below as outlined in firewall documentation:
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/appneta/GA/appliance-firewall.html#firewall-configuration_appneta-endpoint-ip-addresses

or disable any software that may be manipulating SSL traffic.

**NOTE** - Traffic on firewall showing allowed on 443, keep in mind, just because HTTPs/443 is successful, does not mean SSL is working as it should and certificates are not being manipulated in transit.
