Resolution

Running Connectivity Test through CLI, various deployment types and steps listed below:

Physical Monitoring Points (m50, m70, r90, r1000) and Virtual Monitoring Poitns (v35,c50,cpe40):

/opt/pathview/check-appneta-connection

Native Monitoring Points (Windows):

C:\"Program Files"\AppNeta\NativeMonitoringPoint\check-appneta-connection.exe

Native Monitoring Points (Mac):

/Applications/"AppNeta Monitoring Point.app"/Contents/MacOS/check-appneta-connection

Additional Information

Additional switches:

  1. Add -vvv switch to end of command for additional debug output.

  2. If the NMP has never connected before (auth.config file is not present) add the --no-auth switch in addition to -vvv for verbosity.

  3. Add --proxy <proxy-url> to command to specify a proxy.
