There have been reports of the PGP Encryption Desktop client software running into installation or boot issues on Windows with the ARM architecture (Advanced RISC Machines).
Additionally, Microsoft has released a new edition of Windows 11 for ARM processors which use non-x86 type architecture. This article will discuss compatibility, certification and support for the ARM architecture and PGP Encryption Desktop.
ARM Support/Compatibility/Certification is currently being worked on by our Engineering and Product Management teams and will be available in a future release targeted for the end of 2025.
