CCS upgrade from 12.6.1 to 12.7 not started

Issue/Introduction

CCS upgrade from 12.6.1 to 12.7 did not started, result shows as Not Started.

 

Looking at the logs PowerShell snapin from running on old versoin 12.0.xx and  CCS is not able to upgrade

 

Log Entry:

CSIExec,7944,Sequence Thread: CSI.Anchor.OnBegin,6,Run,,0,2,Current MSI activity: CSM.CCS.PowershellSnapinsInstall is not upgradable as its minimum version 12.50.10000.1000 is not installed.

Environment

CCS 12.6.x

Cause

PowershellSnapins running on older version. Minimum it requires version 12.50.10000.1000 

Resolution

Solution is either uninstall PowerShell snapins OR upgrade it to a newer version greater than the 12.50.10000.1000  version.
