Issue/Introduction

  • NSX 4.1.x federated environment. 
  • When the Global Manager is activated, only one Local Manager synchronizes successfully, while the other Local Managers display a status of 'FAILED'.
  • There is no dataplane impact. 
  • Errors similar to the below are seen in in the Global Manager logs:

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.0, available at Broadcom downloads.

Workaround

Perform a rolling reboot of all NSX Global Manager nodes.
