Issue/Introduction

• The IP address setting of a Tier-1 service interface change fails with the following error.

• The same error is recorded in the NSX Manager logs

• There is a static route for 0.0.0.0/0 with scope setting on the Tier-1 GW.

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.1.2 available at Broadcom Downloads.

Workaround:

Remove the scope setting from the static route or remove the static route setting itself from the Tier-1 GW once and change the IP address again.
