Error "No row with the specified identifier exists" when attempting to add a new virtual machine or modify VM properties in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

While creating a new virtual machine or editing the properties of an existing VM, the following error is encountered:

 

No row with the given identifier exists: [com.vmware.vcloud.common.model.logicalresource.StorageClassProviderVdcLogicalResourceModel#xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx]

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to mismatch in the Logical Resources, essentially what is defined as the logical link between the physical resources and the provider VDC Resources.

Resolution

In order to resolve the issue a database modification is needed. Please Contact Broadcom Support
