HCX 4.10
This issue is caused by a validation introduced in HCX 4.10, where network switches are incorrectly validated against both the deployment and service clusters in the Compute Profile. In earlier versions, the validation was limited to deployment clusters only, ensuring that the required networks and broadcast domains were available across hosts in the deployment clusters. However, with HCX 4.10, an additional validation is performed on the service clusters, mistakenly triggering the error message even though all hosts in the service clusters have valid network access.
This issue is resolved in VMware HCX 4.10.1, available at Broadcom downloads.
If you are having difficulty finding and downloading software, please review the Download Broadcom products and software KB.
Workaround for HCX 4.10:
Create a separate compute profile.
