Issue/Introduction

• The following warning is observed after upgrading HCX:
  

  "HCX usage will be restricted. Update HCX system with a valid license key from HCX Manager -> Configuration.", "subject": "License key is Inactive", 

• Accessing HCX appliance management interface at <https://hcx-ip-or-fqdn:9443>, the License shows Active.
  • If your License key is inactive, please feel free to engage your VMware Account Team or open a new non-technical case with the licensing team and select License Management to activate the license or get the new valid one.
• No functional Impact.

Environment

HCX 4.8 to 4.10.1

Cause

This is due to a stale Entry from the earlier version of HCX. 

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware HCX 4.10.2 available at Broadcom Downloads.
