Kaspersky has been automatically migrating its customers to UltraAV. Is Content Analysis affected?
No, Content Analysis is not affected by the Kaspersky migration to UltraAV.
Content Analysis does not have any UltraAV SDK and is unable to install a new AV without a software code change, which would require a new version of Content Analysis. In the case that a new AV were to be installed through such a code change, it would be highlighted in the release notes of Content Analysis for the version it was introduced in.
In addition, per the previous notifications (End-of-Sale End-of-Support Information for Kaspersky Antivirus) Support for Kaspersky AV and Kaspersky updates on Content Analysis will no longer exist after midnight on September 29th, 2024.
