DNS update workflow in SDDC manager does not update the vAPP properties of VMware Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• DNS update workflow in SDDC manager does not update the DNS of VMware Aria Operations.
• It will only update the DNS records in resolv.conf. However, the vAPP properties will be left untouched causing the update to be non-persistent.

This is an expected behavior by design.

Resolution

• Manually update the DNS records of VMware Aria Operations using the below KB.
