How to change vCenter Server Network configuration

Issue/Introduction

You may want to change the vCenter configuration

Resolution

Before making any changes to vCenter it is recommended to take a Snapshot or Backup the vCenter server.

To change the vCenter Network configuration you need to access the vCenter VAMI on port 5480:
Example:
https://vcenter.vmware.com:5480

- Login with the root account
- Go to Networking and click Edit:



Change to the desired configuration



vCenter will automatically restart all the services.
