Issue/Introduction

  • After upgrading VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) SDDC Manager to version 5.2, various UI operations and API checks are blocked. Symptoms include the inability to rotate passwords, remove unused licenses, or proceed with the NSX Manager upgrade.
  • The SDDC Manager UI displays the following error messages:
Failed to get allowed functionalities for domains. Failed to retrieve the resource functionalities
Scheduling immediate update of bundle failed. Unable to determine if functionality is allowed/blocked.
Failed to delete license key. Unable to determine if functionality is allowed/blocked.
This functionality is not allowed at the moment. Please check back later.

The error message in the SDDC logs:

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2
