Issue/Introduction

Can recently introduced Email credential type be used with Validation server? 

Environment

VIP Enterprise Gateway

Resolution

Symantec VIP has integrated email functionality, which can be accessed through the following methods:

• VIP login flow
• OIDC
• MyVIP

Please note that this email integration has not yet been implemented for the Validation servers. As a result, email credentials cannot currently be used for Validation/Radius servers. If this feature is required for Validation servers as well, please open an enhancement request in Broadcom communities page following this KB Article.
