Issue/Introduction

  • When attempting to Upgrade the vSAN File Service, the "Check upgrade" button in vSAN Cluster > Configure > vSAN > Services > File Services > Edit appears greyed out.
  • When hovering over this button, it displays the message: "The OVF file version is the same as currently installed, upgrade is not required."

  • vCenter does not have internet access.
  • Since the "Check upgrade" button is greyed out, manual upload of the OVF file for upgrade is also not possible.

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.0.x
