Unable to remove OrgVDC Network from vCloud Director due to Error: Bad Request

Issue/Introduction

When deleting OrgVDC Network from vCloud Director the following error occurs:

[ ########-####-####-####-########b8c3 ] Cannot delete organization VDC network Network Name (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx)

- Bad Request: Error occurred in the backing network provider: The object path=[/infra/segments/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx] cannot be deleted as either it has children or it is being referenced by other objects path=[/infra/domains/default/groups/Network Name,/infra/domains/default/groups/Gateway Name], error code 500030

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This can be caused by removing components of the NSX Network in NSX UI before deleting the network in VMware Cloud Director (VCD).

Resolution

In order to resolve the issue a database modification is needed. Please Contact Broadcom Support
