SNMP polling for NSX components does not work

Issue/Introduction

SNMP polling for certain NSX components may not function as expected
SNMP polling is supported for specified MIBs but does not capture CPU, memory, or disk usage metrics for NSX components (Manager and Edge nodes).

Environment

Cause

SNMP is supported for use with NSX environments, however there are limitations with NSX components such as NSX manager nodes and NSX Edge nodes.

Resolution

SNMP Traps: NSX Manager and Edge Nodes are configured to generate SNMP notifications (traps) to registered SNMP managers whenever alarms are triggered or resolved. NSX MIBs can be found attached to BROADCOM-NSX-MIB

SNMP Polling: NSX SNMP polling is supported in a limited capacity with specific MIBs. This method does not provide comprehensive metrics such as CPU utilization, memory usage, or disk usage for NSX Manager and Edge Nodes. NSX MIBs can be found attached to BROADCOM-NSX-MIB
