NSX Global Manager UI reports incorrect number of segments under Network Overview Tab

Issue/Introduction

• NSX-T 3.0 and above.
• The NSX Global Manager (GM) UI shows an inaccurate segment count in the Network Overview tab.
• There is no operational impact.  The issue is cosmetic only.

Cause

The GM UI Network Overview section counts only the segments created by the GM. The Distributed Virtual Portgroup (DVPG) created by vCenter and logical segments created by the local NSX manager (LM) are not included.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.1, available at Broadcom downloads.
